Role

Who you are

  • Technical degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Ideally past experience as a software engineer
  • 5 - 10 years of product management experience
  • 4+ years of experience in building AI-powered products including some experience with Gen AI products
  • Experience operating in a very fast-paced environment and extremely comfortable with ambiguity
  • Experience leading a complex product area from 0 to 1
  • Working knowledge of user experience tools (such as Figma) and ML concepts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

What the job involves

  • As one of few product managers in a flat organization with 50+ engineers and researchers, this is a high ownership and high impact role. Galileo is at the heart of the generative AI wave and has consistently observed fast ARR growth for the past year
  • In this role, you will need to envision, scope, execute, land and iterate on big, bold ideas that will impact the lives of AI developers across the world’s largest enterprises. Be a part of the first 100 Galileans to play a huge role in defining how AI will be built by the rest of the world
  • Distill Galileo customer needs into well-packaged, strategic products
  • Own end-to-end product development by understanding customer pain points, defining product requirements, managing development, testing, and launches
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product design, marketing and sales to ensure products and features successfully land
  • Partner with the Galileo AI research team to convert experiments into scalable features delivering high value for AI engineers
  • Keep a pulse on the fast-growing generative AI market to conceptualize new ideas that enable users to build trustworthy genAI systems
  • Work with founders and exec leaders to determine, maintain and execute the product strategy of the business
