Who you are

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a quantitative focus (Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.)
  • 3+ years of work experience in either Sales Strategy / Consulting / Sales Operations / Analytics, preferably in B2B Tech Companies
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to solving business problems
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, Data Visualization and Advanced Analytics. Experience with Tableau, Looker and Python. Familiarity with dbt
  • Effective communicator who is adept at translating complex technical concepts and observations into stakeholder-friendly actionable insights
  • A self-starter who is not afraid to share new ideas or disrupt current processes to improve business operating rhythm
  • Naturally curious – you’re excited by learning new things and often look for ways to innovate and develop
  • You have an eye for processes, and are familiar with CRM tools such as Salesforce

What the job involves

  • Across Strategy & Planning, we partner with the business leaders with a goal to maximize the success of operations and support, both in running the day-to-day business and in shaping and achieving the longer term, high effort, high value strategic priorities
  • We are seeking a Senior Analyst with a strong analytical mindset, and immense curiosity to help us drive our analytics cadence and metrics strategy, developing end-to-end analytics solutions and assets, and influencing our stakeholders with data-informed recommendations
  • In your day-to-day, you will be partnering with Customer Org’s leaders and the business partners to help drive the business strategy, as well as work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales Operations, and Analytics to deliver solutions that are aligned with the company’s objectives and overall strategy
  • Drive the analytical cadence of our business, including quarterly business reviews and organizational deep dives
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Customer Org leadership to conduct deep dives and value-add analyses, uncovering actionable insights
  • Own and continuously enhance the data and analytics assets, addressing the evolving business needs
  • Conceptualize and pilot new programs and initiatives, measuring impact and communicating the observations with senior leadership
  • Think critically to navigate ambiguous situations, problem solve and provide recommendations to your team and leadership
  • Establish trust with key stakeholders in Customer Org leadership and our cross-functional partners (Sales Intelligence, Sales Ops, Tech Ops, Finance, GTM Analytics, among others)

Essentially, the company develops tools and blueprints to help businesses and organisations modernise their legacy applications, migrating them to the MongoDB database and the MongoDB Atlas cloud database. With this initiative, MongoDB is particularly taking aim at Oracle customers with ageing applications running on the Oracle relational database system.
