  • Proven track-record for meeting and exceeding revenue targets and performance driven KPIs within a high paced startup or tech company
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B technology solutions business development
  • Experience in General Insurance products is a plus
  • Excellent deal and contract negotiation, problem solving and commercial structuring skills
  • First class communication skills, able to present, negotiate and influence at C-level
  • Ability to think laterally and explore creative solutions in both deal negotiation and customer solution design
  • Knowledge in cross-functional project development in an insurance context in different countries
  • Fluency in English and ideally another major European language
  • University degree in business or comparable qualifications
  • Experience in the digital economy (e.g., travel platforms) and digital solution design a plus

Our take

The insurance industry is a major component of the economy given the essential social and economic role it plays by covering personal and business risks. Yet, despite being one of the largest industries in the world, it has operated the same way for hundreds of years, failing to utilise technology and innovation to become more streamlined, leaving it at risk of being left behind by industries like banking, which are evolving fast. Companjon wants to change this.

A leading European tech venture, it specialises in embedded insurance that’s fully digital, end-to-end, and hassle-free. Tech-driven, it is aiming to disrupt the US and European insurance market. It's EDI (event-driven interactions) model has already proven hugely successful in Asia, and as one of the early businesses to bring this into the Western markets, Companjon will have a big head start.
