What the job involves

  • Kargo is seeking a highly capable, polished and resourceful Administrative Assistant to support members of the Kargo Executive Team.
  • Kargo’s Administrative Assistant is part of the People Operations team and reports to the Chief of Staff.
  • This role keeps the trains running on time at Kargo and provides all types of support with a positive, can-do attitude – no job is too big or too small.
  • The AA must be professional, confident, adaptable and able to figure it out on the fly. This role provides a prime introduction to the world of advertising & media and for a candidate who hits it out of the park, is a stepping stone to their next role at the Company
  • In-person role, reporting to the NYC office 5 days a week. Serve as the eyes and ears of the office, providing information, answering questions, and responding to requests
  • Welcomes all visitors, and guides them to the appropriate location to make them feel comfortable at the Kargo office
  • Manage the calendars of C-Suite members using Google Calendar. Schedules internal and external meetings for the Executive Team and keeps them on schedule
  • Coordinates domestic and international travel and hotel accommodations for the Executive Team pertaining to business travel only, using points and corporate programs to secure the best terms and pricing
  • Maintains Expensify to record monthly expenses
  • Prepare agendas for meetings and make arrangements, such as coordinating catering for in-person breakfast or lunches
  • Responsible for coverage when the Executive Assistant to the CEO is out of office
  • Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed
  • Prepares plans and specifications for pickup/shipment, mailings, etc
  • Answer phones and direct callers to the appropriate point of contact
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

The company achieves this by directly integrating optimized impressions from the best-performing publishers within its specialized supply, using tangible identity metrics to analyze and improve advertiser KPIs, and overall facilitating personalized and mobile-optimized advertising.

The company acquired Videobyte (a video advertising platform for Connected TV) in early 2023 to expand operations into the relatively young digital TV industry and its lucrative TV formats. Bringing video, publisher tools, and unique formats to Kargo's omnichannel, this acquisition indicates a diversification of mediums for the advertising provider, who already has a firm grip on both mobile and desktop advertising platforms.
