Who you are

  • The successful candidate will be adept at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, establishing and communicating sponsorships criteria, and holding a high bar for deals we choose to execute
  • 6+ years of experience in consumer marketing with consumer companies/products
  • 3+ years of experience in sports/sponsorship marketing, including experience managing large scale activation campaigns
  • 3 + years of experience managing agency partners, as a sponsorship/brand/marketing manager or at an agency
  • Fluency in English

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience working on international campaigns
  • Excellent understanding of consumer brand advertising and sponsorship marketing strategies, especially in the digital and high-technology space
  • Strong knowledge of the sports marketing landscape, especially within women’s sport

  • High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact with senior management on a regular basis
  • Comfort and proficiency at leveraging scarce resources, including marketing budgets and personnel resources
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is expected
  • Ability to earn trust and work as part of a cross functional team

What the job involves

  • The Cross Channel Marketing XCM Team is looking for a sharp, experienced, innovative, results-oriented sponsorship marketing professional to lead the sourcing, management and execution of sponsorship programs across its European marketplaces
  • The primary focus of the role will be leading our ongoing partnership with UEFA Women’s Football, working closely with our Brand, Media, Social and PR teams on campaign activation planning, execution and measurement around the UEFA Women’s Champions League and UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 tournaments, acting as the main point of contact for the UEFA sponsorship team, and managing the delivery of our contractual rights and branding assets
  • Beyond the marketing team, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with multiple other teams across the company, acting as an advocate for the UEFA partnership and overseeing integrations with teams including Retail, AWS, Amazon Music, Force For Good (CSR), DEI, Sustainability and Internal Comms
  • A small amount of time will also be required to support and consult on other local partnerships
  • Alongside the execution of our existing partnerships, the role includes leading the negotiation of any contract renewals, sourcing and evaluating potential new opportunities aligned to our strategy, as well as handling inbound proposals
  • For deals that move forward, this role will also oversee all sponsorship execution and measurement.

On top of this, the company's e-commerce division is facing profitability problems despite its 2023 post-IPO debt funding of 8 billion. It will need to find new ways to stay above their competitors.
