Role

Who you are

  • Our ideal candidate is a natural storyteller with the ability to apply a customer-centric approach to build messaging and value propositions for new products, features and/or programs.
  • You are results-driven, with a passion for using data to build marketing initiatives that solve business and customer problems
  • Minimum of 7 years of Product Marketing experience
  • Experience required: FinTech, Loyalty/Rewards, Marketplace, and/or fast paced startup environment

What the job involves

  • In this role you will be responsible for the creation and execution of our product marketing strategy.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, and more to ensure our products meet customer needs and are positioned for success in the market
  • Develop comprehensive strategies through product launch plans including audience definition, product positioning, and messaging architecture
  • Define target customer segments and create compelling value propositions for each segment
  • Evaluate product market fit through customer research to find growth opportunities and improve user experiences within our product offerings
  • Keep a pulse on industry trends and competitive landscape to inform product improvements and incorporate learnings into customer growth initiatives
  • Analyze product performance and market data to make recommendations for improvements
  • Take a data-driven approach to campaign strategy focusing investments on the most impactful customer outcomes and specific KPIs
  • Think outside of the box of how we can continue to super charge our growth flywheel by driving conversion, product utilization, and organic growth
  • Execute in-product promotion strategy to meet business objectives including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention and reactivation
  • Understand and represent the voice of the customer to shape the roadmap, and to ensure product development aligns with market needs and customer demand
  • Identify ways to activate new channels, create new content partnerships, and generally spread the word about Kalder
  • Develop and execute targeted demand generation campaigns to support new customer acquisition

Our take

Kalder is a new entrant into the world of Web 3.0 and blockchain, founded in early 2022. It's on a mission to work with brands and creators to better their engagement with the help of its marketing tool that is unified with Web 3.0, with the hope that this will boost revenue for brands and creators.

The founder's previous experience working at OpenSea, an NFT marketplace, gives promise to the success of Kalder's product. Despite competitors like Adriel existing in the industry, this existing experience and passion for the sector, alongside the fact that Kalder is specialising in Web 3.0, should help it make an impact in the space.

The funding raised so far has allowed the company to begin acquiring its first clients, and it has generated a good amount of buzz for itself. 2023 saw the company partner with Web 3.0 media platform Blockster to help launch its industry-first NFT Loyalty Program, and it will be interesting to see what other projects Kalder is involved in in the coming years.
