What the job involves

  • We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to support product marketing for the Arcadia Platform
  • This role will be responsible for the product launch and GTM lifecycle for new features across the platform, positioning, packaging & pricing, GTM enablement, and competitive/market insights
  • The role will help bridge commercial, finance, and product management and ensure we are not only able to share market insights to drive the product roadmap but also making sure we are successfully selling our products and expanding into the right new markets
  • Drive go-to-market enablement and positioning refinement of our current product offering
  • Collect and synthesize market intelligence to inform product roadmaps and GTM strategies
  • Centralize and manage product launches across the platform and ensure alignment and enablement across each stage - from conception to a GA launch, by connecting external customer needs, product roadmap dependencies, competitive differentiation, commercial requirements, technological capabilities, and business goals
  • This role will report to the Head / Director of Product Marketing. Additionally, the Product Marketing Manager will collaborate frequently with sales, pre-sales, product managers, customer success teams, and customers
  • You will work with our customers, the commercial team, and the product team to develop messaging, positioning, packaging, and GTM strategy for the Arcadia Platform
  • Implement our product marketing processes using best practices
  • Manage the product launch life cycle, ensuring we are communicating with and enabling GTM at each appropriate stage of the product life cycle to ensure we are able to maximize value from our product investments
  • Gather or conduct market and competitive research to understand what customers want in existing or new product and market categories

  • Support marketing and demand generation efforts as needed to help communicate the features and value of the core product(s)

  • You will be hands-on in uncovering insights from analytics, user research, and use cases that come from cross-functional partners in Sales, Engineering, Customers, Operations, and Data Science
  • You will balance and champion the needs of the diverse set of users who interact with the Arcadia software products: businesses, software companies, independent service providers, and internal Arcadia employees

Our take

Arcadia believes that without access to clear and actionable consumer data, companies’ climate plans are likely to prove fruitless. Fortunately, data is something Arcadia has an abundance of, with access to 95% of US utility accounts.

The company actually started with a B2C model, matching residents with suitable renewable energy sources based on their utility bill data, then shifted into community solar projects. Now armed with a high volume of consensually-shared customer data, Arcadia’s B2B API platform, Arc, allows companies to access its datasets in order to optimize their offerings.

The platform is used by the likes of electric vehicle charging network EVgo, as well as Ford, Oracle, and Airbnb. Its growing popularity and growth potential has seen Arcadia win major investment which will support the further development of Arc, as well as helping to accelerate its community solar business.
