Role

Who you are

  • 2+ years of experience of full-cycle technical and business recruiting experience with a strong understanding of recruitment principles, techniques, and best practices
  • Proven track record of successfully setting, achieving, and exceeding requisition goals with high-quality candidates at an early-stage company
  • Experience with Lever or similar ATS
  • Ability to manage multiple recruiting priorities with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of outbound sourcing strategies and tactics using LinkedIn and other tools
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

What the job involves

  • In this Temporary Talent Partner role, you’ll support Stavvy’s People & Culture team as we work to fill critical roles
  • This is an anticipated 4-month contract opportunity with potential for extension pending the needs of the business
  • As a generalist recruiter, you’ll support our business and technical teams
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial candidate contact through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff to People Operations
  • Schedule interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with hiring managers as well as coach new interviewers and managers on recruiting processes
  • Collaborate with managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Source, engage, and attract top talent through various channels including LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, and referrals
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including resume reviews and phone interviews, to evaluate qualifications and match for role
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline and network for future hiring needs
  • Champion the candidate experience through effective and timely communication and transparency throughout the recruitment process

The world of mortgage lending is a fractured place, and Stavvy is a company that is setting out to repair some of the cracks. Its fintech platform aims to increase the speed, efficiency, and transparency of real-estate transactions whilst managing security risk and eliminating fragmentation.

The platform gives loan servicers a secure virtual space to do things like negotiate solutions and obtain notarized signatures without the need for paper and postage. It does this through e-signatures and video conferencing.

In recent years, the company has seen a surge in business as business operations - including banking and lending businesses - pursued paperless and digital solutions. In light of this, the company has wisely doubled down on the quality of talent needed to scale properly. With this momentum, and considerable funding, Stavvy looks well set to continue its aggressive growth.
