Associate General Counsel, OKX

• The right candidate will have relevant legal experience and an enthusiastic belief in the cryptocurrency/digital asset space
• Experience working for a top-tier law firm or in-house at a prestigious financial services, technology or cryptocurrency company, and possess excellent writing and analytical skills
• The ideal candidate possesses legal experience working in cryptocurrency/digital assets, securities law, white collar investigations, and/or effective compliance programs
• Active membership with a state bar (CA preferred) or eligible to practice in California as a registered in-house counsel
• Resident of the San Francisco Bay Area; or New York
• Experience at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house legal team, preferably in the cryptocurrency/digital assets industry
• Understanding of global regulatory environments and comfortable reading legislation and regulatory guidance
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to structure, analyze, and synthesize complex problems and communicate them effectively
• A strong attention to detail, work ethic, and an ability to execute with speed, high standards, and a passion for sharing knowledge within your team and organization
• Experience advising on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology legal issues and have a basic understanding of the relevant legal and regulatory landscape
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, growth-stage and multi-cultural environment
• Ability to effectively advise and build trust with business teams

Desirable

• As an Associate General Counsel, you will support OKX's global token listing procedures and provide legal support for the Compliance department
• You will work closely with all members of the Global Legal team and business leaders throughout the company
• Supporting the business in a wide range of legal coverage areas, including but not limited to token listings, compliance legal support, product promotion and development, global regulatory matters, contract negotiation, and institutional sales and partnerships
• Managing outside counsel and interpreting legal advice to comport with the firm's business development plans and risk appetite
• When necessary, assisting the team's litigation and regulatory practice group on global regulatory matters and inquiries
• Collaborating with product and business development teams to achieve company-wide projects and goals; and
• Managing legal requests from all areas of the business and effectively advising on legal concepts and legal risk with an eye towards the strategic goals of business leaders
