Who you are
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Suite
- Familiarity with Netsuite or other accounting software is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What the job involves
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting and Financial Control Intern to join our Finance team
- This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting and financial management, supporting our efforts to optimize financial processes and prepare for our Series B funding round
- Financial Close Tracking
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely in the Netsuite system
- Billing Management
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing to clients
- Monitor and reconcile billing discrepancies
- Accounting Management
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Support daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and transaction recording
- Cash Collection Management
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments
- Implement strategies to improve cash collection efficiency
- Contribute to the development of our product by providing feedback and insights based on cash collection processes
- Liaison with Accountants (US and France)
- Coordinate with external accountants to ensure compliance with local regulations
- Provide necessary documentation and support for external audits
- Tax Monitoring
- Assist in tracking and ensuring compliance with tax obligations
- Support the preparation and submission of tax filings
- Financial Analysis and Projects
- Conduct financial analyses to support decision-making processes
- Contribute to various financial projects aimed at improving efficiency and cost savings
