Role

Who you are

  • Masters’ degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, etc.)
  • 5+ years experience as a Data Scientist in a technology environment
  • Deep knowledge of statistics, probability, and machine learning techniques
  • Advanced experience in data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, pandas, pyspark)
  • Strong background designing and developing software to implement advanced analytic algorithms
  • A quick learner, with the ability to work independently and adaptably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities and project management skills

Desirable

  • PhD in a technical field
  • Industry experience with development and deployment of predictive models or recommendation systems

What the job involves

  • In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment, with diverse data sets and technologies to produce production quality, scalable, automated solutions to a diverse set of challenging data problems
  • You will have the freedom to utilize the latest technologies to solve challenging problems, create innovative applications from the ground up and understand exactly what it takes to create a reliable online experience for our customers
  • This role collaborates closely with our technology teams to provide profound insights from your analysis, and optimize our business, with the ultimate goal of helping Tatari redefine marketing analytics for tv and streaming video media buying
  • Collaborating closely with our engineering and technology teams, the Data Scientist will build predictive models and perform advanced statistical analyses to provide insights for optimizing our business
  • Applying fluent understanding of state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to build predictive models and recommender systems
  • Applying deep understanding of statistics and probability to devise improvements to existing algorithms
  • Contributing to developing and maintaining internal analysis software libraries
  • Developing new intellectual property
  • Analyzing large amounts of data to identify relationships and trends, translating them into actionable insights for our product team and clients
  • Reporting findings, both orally and in written documents containing charts, graphs and tables

Television advertising has changed dramatically since it first began, with advertisement campaigns growing in scale, having increasingly large budgets, and migrating to modern alternatives such as CTV. Despite these increased demands, television advertising remains antiquated relative to the modern data-driven campaigns of mobile platform ads, presenting opportunities for innovations within the industry.

Tatari provides a TV and CTV advertisement data and analytics platform, helping clients to future-proof their advertisement campaigns through real-time data-driven approaches. The company achieves this by providing a dashboard for analyzing the success of campaigns, facilitating data-driven media buying, and managing on-demand CTV campaign changes, ultimately aiming to digitize the TV advertisement process.

Whilst it is undeniable that Tatari faces competition from providers of TV advertisement analytic platforms, media buying platforms, and other data-driven solutions, it has been smart to unify such tools into an all-in-one digital TV advertisement management dashboard. The company shows great potential to help clients future-proof the way they run TV ads, and has been busy expanding its product suite and licensing portfolio through 2022 and 2023.
