Who you are
- API Technical Writer: Experience in technology-driven environments, you excel in creating clear and effective documentation while possessing a strong grasp of API concepts, including RESTful APIs, and developer workflows

What the job involves
- Join our team at Weavr as a Technical Writer, where you'll lead the charge in crafting customer-facing documentation and driving our technical documentation strategy
- As part of the Product team you’ll focus on refining documentation processes and standards, playing a vital role in the continuous growth and evolution of our product development journey
- You'll be pivotal in articulating our solutions to the market, positioning us as a category leader
- Your contributions will ensure that customers and developers have clear guides on how to integrate with our product, thereby driving up our NPS scores and reinforcing our reputation for outstanding user experience and technical excellence
- Technical Documentation Management: Lead the end-to-end creation, maintenance, and organisation of external technical documentation (API docs, UI Components, Mobile SDKs), including reference guides and tutorials
- Content Development: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation suitable for developers as well as product teams
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other subject matter experts to gather information and ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews and audits of existing documentation to identify areas for improvement, consistency, and accuracy
- Documentation Standards: Establish and enforce documentation standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and alignment internally and with industry standards
- User Feedback: Solicit feedback from developers and stakeholders to continuously improve the quality and usability of API documentation
- Documentation Tools: Utilise documentation tools and standards (e.g., OpenAPI, Git, Markdown) to create, manage, and publish documentation and guides effectively

It’s proven an astoundingly popular development in the fintech space, and for good reason: non-fintechs don’t have to build financial tools from scratch, so can grow faster, more efficiently, and more cost-effectively.
Weavr offers a broad base of embedded finance services, including bank transfers and card issuing, and also handles compliance and regulatory issues on the behalf of customers. Notably, Weavr has been quick to adapt to the rapidly shifting payments field, also offering a crypto point of sales service - and looking to develop into emerging areas like the creator economy.
This is likely to prove a savvy move. Embedded finance as a whole is playing particularly well with retail/ecommerce companies and the healthcare sector, and these are both areas in which Weavr has a strong presence. But there’s plenty of customers in this market from broader, miscellaneous fields, like crypto and like the entertainment industry.
