Role

Who you are

  • Place Exchange is seeking an upbeat, energetic, and self-motivated Client Success Manager to join the Client Success team and help cultivate relationships with our existing agency and advertiser partners as a strategic advisor
  • The right candidate is energized by the opportunity to break new ground in establishing OOH as the next major channel for programmatic buyers and marketers
  • Experience working in an Account Management or Client Success role is vital, and experience with programmatic and/or programmatic OOH advertising is a major plus
  • You should have outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a team environment
  • 4+ years of experience working in account management or client success
  • 4+ years of experience in the programmatic media space (buy-side or sell-side)
  • Extensive familiarity with the ad tech ecosystem and key trends
  • Experience working with demand side platforms (DSP) and supply side platforms (SSP)
  • Proven track record of success driving revenue, farming existing business, and upselling
  • Strong analytical base with experience with various business intelligence or reporting tools
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively present technical products to non-technical customers, and negotiate deals
  • Collaborative, team-oriented working style

What the job involves

  • You will use your client service skills and knowledge of agency innerworkings to manage renewal business and identify opportunities that drive incremental revenue
  • You will use your communication and time management skills to track and resolve any client issues, communicate relevant updates, and successfully exceed client service expectations
  • This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and varied role that is perfect for you to delve deep into the emerging programmatic channel of OOH
  • Achieve Place Exchange’s programmatic advertising revenue objectives by managing relationships with a portfolio of existing agency partners
  • Own a revenue target, inclusive of existing and growth opportunities, for a defined set of Place Exchange customers
  • Continue to educate, consult, and update agency partners on Place Exchange’s programmatic value proposition, new offerings, and alignment with their business to renewal and incremental revenue
  • Implement training and education efforts with wider agency teams
  • Initiate and drive ongoing incremental revenue opportunities, sell through new products, conduct QBRs, and ensure Place Exchange maintains high visibility with partners
  • Act as the buy-side champion for our media owner partners, focused on growing partner specific and Place Exchange holistic revenues
  • Work with Marketing to develop partner messaging, sales tools and supporting collateral for partner offering
  • Deliver agency feedback to internal teams for consideration and improvements

Our take

With marketing campaigns stretched across multiple channels, brands must ensure consistency in order to foster strong customer relationships. However, this can be difficult because digital out-of-home media, such as billboards, are usually controlled through different entities than online and mobile advertisements. Place Exchange’s supply-side platform allows companies to connect out-of-home media to other digital channels, creating a more unified marketing campaign.

Omnichannel marketing has already been well achieved in mobile and online advertisement, but Place Exchange’s patented technology delivers a way for businesses to also integrate digital out-of-home marketing and hence control entire campaigns from a single interface. The platform combines the workflows, reporting, and attribution of DOOH, mobile and online advertisements, and allows the same creatives to work cross-channel towards brand continuity.

Place Exchange has partnered with several digital out-of-home advertisement providers to expand the marketing options available through its platform. Investment in the company will be used to broaden its product offerings and expand into new markets.
