Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Proficiency in multi-threaded, object-oriented languages such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, etc
- Experience with Spring framework is a plus
- Familiarity with essential development tools and methodologies, including version control systems, requirement specification, design review, unit testing, system testing, and performance testing
- Strong technical background with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends
- Experience owning/operating SaaS/cloud-based distributed systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have a strong understanding of CI/CD, SDLC, and Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management tools and technologies is a plus

- As a software engineer within Workday's IAM Organization, you'll have a vital role in enhancing and improving our technical and operational frameworks
- You will be involved in all aspects of software development, including designing, coding, testing, deploying, and providing support for our customer-facing software solutions
- Apply your expertise in JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin) and distributed cloud/SaaS systems to create advanced features and ensure the stability of current software solutions
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and leadership to ensure the alignment of development efforts with company objectives
