Role
Who you are
- Proven track record of excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills delivering data science solutions
- Excellent communicator with amazing storytelling ability to passionately create vision and drive solutions
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, pandas, scikit-learn, and data visualization toolkits
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering building out data-driven SaaS products
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
- Master’s in statistics, data science, or science related field
- Deep knowledge of statistics, predictive modeling, machine learning, data mining, graph theory, and feature engineering
- Experience in using cloud services and platforms, such as GCP, Azure, AWS, etc
What the job involves
- Your role is to empower Data Science at Doxel through removing ambiguity and implementing best practices to enable intuitive data retrieval and modeling
- Work with stakeholders to gather a deep understanding of business problems
- Permeate domain understanding to relevant audiences in the most effective way
- Work with data owners to improve and consolidate data models, mappings, and ontologies
- Create systems to democratize data through productionizing data pipelines with best practices correcting for anomalies and inconsistencies
- Perform statistical analysis and create direction for our product and executive reports
- Deploy models to production and work with the product engineering team to integrate it into the product

The software empowers teams with comprehensive information that can track a project’s progress against building information models, budgets, schedules, and pay application data.
There is a huge opportunity to improve the construction industry, as more than 90% of large projects are delivered over budget and behind schedule. While there is no shortage of analytics tools for the industry, where Doxel stands out is in "forward-thinking" insights, that pre-empt problems, rather than the backward-looking analytics of competitors.
Doxel.ai's software has been adopted by large businesses such as Kaiser Permanente and Pennsylvania Chemicals. The company is using investments to scale activity and hire additional talent as it moves to further expand its operations.
