Who you are

  • You are experienced in software development, specifically in cloud architectures, systems design, distributed systems, observability and reliability practices. Experience in large scale SaaS architecture is a plus
  • You are experienced in Domain Driven Design, Hexagonal Architecture, Systems Design, Event Driven Architecture, Command and Query Responsibility Segregation, Circuit Breakers and other distributed systems patterns experience

What the job involves

  • As part of the Domain Empowerment team, your role will be to accompany this change (see AMET pattern describing well team mission),
  • You will be a senior player for the squad Low-code Build & Run
  • Through its 2 streams (build & run), our goal is to build a scalable low-code platform, specific to payroll configuration and used internally to configure complex business logic in different countries
  • Shape the future of our low-code platform
  • Collaborate with colleagues of different backgrounds (Design, Engineering and Product) to define and build a platform that serves the needs of our users
  • Improve the team's current practices by challenging the existing ones when necessary
  • Envision, design, and implement features, libraries, and tools to solve specific problems with broad impacts, such as improving Product
  • Builders’ experience, enforcing code reliability, and enabling performance optimizations
  • Design and implement powerful algorithms to sustain our scalability
  • Design scalable event-driven systems that can run payroll computations for hundreds of thousands of persons
  • Conduct unit and product testing as needed to evaluate system correctness
  • Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of the platform

  • 2. Next step will be a meeting with Clément, Engineering Manager, & Pierre-Luc, Product Manager (45 min)
  • 3. You will go through a live technical code exercise with 2 Software Engineers (60 min)
  • 4. Then you will have a System Design live discussion with Clément & Nicolas (60 min)
  • 5. Finally, you will have a discussion with Damian, Engineering Director (30 min)
