Who you are

  • We are looking for a passionate problem solver who can build strong relationships with their business partners and is motivated to drive tangible impact across the business
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in business operations, GTM strategy, RevOps, FP&A, and/or management consulting roles – enterprise SaaS experience is a plus
  • Proven record of professional and academic excellence. MBA or Graduate degree in a technical, quantitative, or business field preferred
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong desire to influence the business by proactively identifying opportunities, relentlessly pursuing root-cause understanding, and collaborating with our executives and business partners to design operational solutions connected to the strategic vision
  • Structured problem solving skills, combined with strong business acumen
  • Strong technical skillset (SQL, Tableau, Excel) with ability to manipulate large, complex data sets into summarized insights
  • Proven ability to take complex, ambiguous topics and turn them into compelling narratives for different audiences
  • Well-rounded interpersonal skill set with the capacity to build strong relationships with senior executives

What the job involves

  • Business Operations at Gong serves as a key connection point between Finance, Sales, Product, and Marketing teams
  • Our BizOps team plays a critical role in crafting Gong’s strategic vision for growth, developing annual key priorities to connect strategy to operational outcomes, tracking performance through the corporate reporting cadence, and leading company-wide special projects with cross-functional teams
  • Support the development of Gong’s long-term, strategic vision through TAM analyses of our core and expansion markets, ARR growth modeling that hones in on the key drivers of our business, and powerful, exec-ready deliverables that enable strategic decision making
  • Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team (C-Suite) and various functional leaders to develop our annual company priorities, as well as the strategic and operational KPIs that connect our strategic vision to our day-to-day execution
  • Proactively analyze and monitor all aspects of our business performance in support of the “rhythm of the business” cadences (e.g. QBRs, BoD reporting)
  • Lead cross-functional project teams through strategic initiatives across the business, ensuring alignment of key decisions and the successful completion of project milestones and deliverables
  • Define, structure, and deliver root-cause analyses of business performance to enable data-driven decision making by the leadership team
