Role
Who you are
- We are looking for someone who has a passion for software quality and a methodical approach to problem-solving
- 2+ years of experience in software testing
- Familiarity with SDLC and STLC processes
- Experience in manual testing, test case design, and defect life cycle management
- Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and test automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
- Basic SQL query knowledge to validate data
- Understanding of automation scripts and their execution
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in Agile methodologies and using tools like Jira
What the job involves
- As a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our software applications are reliable and meet the highest quality standards. Your contributions will include:
- Designing and executing manual and automated test cases to ensure software functionality
- Identifying and documenting defects early in the testing lifecycle to prevent them from reaching the end-users
- Collaborating with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality is built into every stage of the software development lifecycle
- Performing API testing, understanding HTTP methods, and handling API payloads and authorization
- Executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and interacting with automation scripts for comprehensive testing
- Engaging in regression, re-testing, and smoke testing to ensure software stability
- Your efforts will ensure our applications meet the diverse needs of global supply chains, contributing to our mission of creating sustainable, technology-driven solutions for worldwide trade
