Who you are

  • 3+ years as a senior growth manager at a B2B SaaS company with a lot of traffic/users
  • 6+ years of experience across GTM, demand generation, and growth product Management
  • Proven experience defining and leading major product led growth initiatives across multiple products. You can turn ambiguous problems and big ideas into a roadmap of features, experiments, and research with minimal guidance
  • Impact driven and a consistent history of delivering measurable user or revenue growth for early stage startups
  • Deep understanding of product growth frameworks and strategies. You can not only design, run, and interpret experiments and A/B tests, but you are also able to articulate an overarching strategy that will consistently drive growth
  • Passion for building products that unlock value - you are as comfortable designing new product features to drive viral growth as much as running a quick A/B test

What the job involves

  • As a Senior Product Manager - Growth, you will be responsible for Mixmax’s product led growth initiatives and own all key customer acquisition, engagement & retention metrics of our self service business that forms a significant part of the company’s revenue
  • This is a high visibility, high-impact role and is a great opportunity for someone who wants to own and develop product lead growth
  • Within three months, you'll:
  • Build Mixmax’s product led growth vision, strategy, and roadmap for increasing self service revenue
  • Define and implement the model the company uses for PLG initiatives, including the team, metrics and targets
  • Become an authority on Mixmax’s product lead growth engine. You’ll identify customer needs and business opportunities through a combination of user research, collecting feedback from cross-functional teammates, diving into data, and competitive analysis
  • Within six months, you'll:
  • Have established a PLG process that consistently yields results and moves the needle for key growth metrics
  • Define, understand, and improve key funnels and metrics. You’ll own features and experiments end-to-end, including writing product specs, driving cross-functional execution, making thoughtful product decisions along the way, and sharing insights and results throughout the company
  • Use Iterative hypothesis-driven methods for product development to improve the product experience for product led growth
  • Increased key growth metrics meaningfully through new product features or optimizations of existing product growth loops

Our take

MixMax is a platform looking to innovate for sales closers by freeing the workforce up from email-based busywork. Customer-facing work like sales typically requires multiple apps and platforms, task managers, and inefficient integrations. MixMax offers a streamlined service to help convene tasks like email tracking, scheduling, customer engagement, and lead-chasing on a single platform.

Email inefficiency is a key point of frustration for many employees - and a real timewaster. This has, however, attracted competition from startups and larger established organizations like Outreach and Streak.

With a founding team including members with experience in product-building at companies like Apple, Google, and Skype, and a 2023 integration with Salesforce, MixMax is well-armed to take on larger-scale competitors.
