What the job involves

  • The Agile Program Manager is responsible for ensuring healthy Agile practices across multiple delivery teams
  • They are knowledgeable about standard Agile frameworks and confident in educating and training teams to adopt and adapt practices to their specific needs while maintaining connection to organizational standards, priorities and outcomes
  • Enablement of Agile practices for 3-5 product development teams. Facilitate and manage key team ceremonies, and pursue team delivery efficiency, health and effectiveness
  • Intentionally develop Agile expertise in assigned teams and their leaders. Empower teams to continuously improve their ways of working and advocate for an Agile mindset
  • Build strong relationships, serving as a trusted Agile expert in pursuit of building effective teams. Establish, maintain and use team metrics to understand effectiveness and provide related insights to teams and their leaders
  • Manage the flow of work within their delivery teams, ensuring alignment with CIC goals and strategic programs. Assist team with prioritizing, planning and estimating work that contributes to the successful delivery of projects and CIC strategic programs
  • Ensure that team ways of working are aligned with standards and outcomes expected of all teams in the product unit. Collaboration with the Business Operations team to continuously improve operating practices and standards across the entire CIC product unit
