Who you are

  • We're seeking someone brimming with energy, who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and passionate about constructing from the ground up
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a retained search agency
  • 7+ total years executive recruiting experience in a corporate and agency environment
  • Experience working within startup or hypergrowth organizations; preferably within the Consumer Product Industry
  • Track record of driving results and building strong relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders
  • Confident with outstanding communication skills to manage and influence senior-level executives
  • Have a keen eye for talent with a high EQ and SQ
  • Ability to create and present executive summary presentations and influence using search efforts and hiring using internal and external data
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to deliver results
  • Exhibits strong professionalism and has proven ability to maintain confidentiality

What the job involves

  • As we experience exponential growth, we're on the hunt for a dynamic Executive Recruiter to join our Global Talent Acquisition team
  • This isn't just a role; it's an opportunity to shape our future by developing a top-tier in-house executive search function and reducing our reliance on external agencies
  • Lead the recruitment process for senior-level executives, from sourcing to hiring, to attract top-tier leaders
  • Partner with business leaders, HRBPs, Compensation, and Talent Management teams to build and scale
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies, including networking and direct outreach, to find exceptional candidates. Ensure a robust candidate pool and quality of hire
  • Conduct thorough candidate evaluations, including competency-based interviews and reference checks, to ensure the best fit
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and ensure alignment throughout the recruitment process
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to provide strategic insights and recommendations
  • Enhance SharkNinja’s employer brand by effectively communicating our mission, vision, and values to potential candidates
  • Ensure a positive candidate and hiring leader experience through clear communication, timely feedback, and proactive recruitment process management
  • Streamline executive search activities, including managing referrals, coordinating with external agencies, and utilizing systems and tools, while producing performance metrics and reports

Consumer demand for new and better home appliances continues to grow. SharkNinja serves this demand by designing and manufacturing innovative home goods and devices. Specifically, it has a growing line of solutions that consist of Shark cleaning and home care products and Ninja kitchen appliances.

SharkNinja has been in operation since 1994, which is testament to the quality and popularity of its products. Since its initial launch in Canada, the company has expanded into the US and the UK. In 2017 SharkNinja was bought by CDH Private Equity for over $1.5 Billion, further proof of its impressive market value. Perhaps more evidence is that it brings in annual revenues of around $4B.

SharkNinja’s main challenge is facing down big-name competitors such as home appliance giant Dyson. In fact, through innovative design, it seized the market-leading spot in traditional vacuums from Dyson and is only second to iRobot in sales of robotic models. A 2023 IPO saw an extra $296 million in funding added to SharkNinja's pot and was followed by product launches in new sectors such as air conditioning and food cooling, indicating that the company is still full of new product ideas.
