• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
• Proficiency in accounting software (Netsuite) and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• A proactive mindset and curiosity
• Ability to adapt in a multicultural environment
• Fluent in verbal and written English/French

• Supervise, mentor, and train accounts payable staff
• Oversee the daily processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment requests
• Ensure all payments are processed on time and according to company policies
• Verify and reconcile discrepancies in vendor statements and accounts
• Manage the weekly check run and electronic payments
• Monitor and manage the AP inbox to address vendor inquiries and internal requests promptly
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors
• Negotiate payment terms and schedules with vendors as needed
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the accounts payable function
• Collaborate in the procurement creation process
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports for management
