Who you are

  • You have to be enrolled at a German University working towards your Bachelor / Master. If you are not a student in Germany, your application will be rejected immediately
  • Analytical and number-driven mindset (you can handle Excel and big spreadsheets)
  • First experiences with or strong interest in online marketing and the usual tools like Google Ads, DV360, Facebook Business Manager, or similar
  • Hands-on mentality and ability to pay attention to detail even when dealing with tight deadlines
  • Excellent conduct of German and English

What the job involves

  • Our Campaign team consists of 70 specialists - and it keeps growing: you will have the unique chance to work with a team of experts in the field and collaborate with key companies such as Universal, Paramount, Prime Video, and many more
  • Setup, monitoring and optimization of video campaigns on YouTube, Facebook/Instagram and similar channels for Hollywood blockbusters, indie movies and series watched by millions of fans
  • Support of the Campaigns team in their daily tasks, including the creation of offers and reporting for campaigns
  • Definition of relevant target audiences based on reference movies and use of internal tools to identify matching user profiles from our database
  • Continuous optimization of ongoing campaigns to reach the defined KPIs
  • Conduct of market research and user surveys to reveal a title's potential success far ahead of its release

Our take

For years, JustWatch served as a global streaming guide, simplifying the search for shows across platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. On top of this, it leveraged user data to run targeted movie marketing campaigns.

However, in the 2020s, JustWatch introduces a significant upgrade. Following in the footsteps of Plex and Reelgood, users can now seamlessly search, access, and receive recommendations from all their streaming services within a single app.

Remarkably, despite minimal external funding since its 2014 inception, JustWatch has expanded into approximately 60 markets with a team exceeding a hundred members. As the streaming services market becomes increasingly diverse and fragmented, JustWatch finds itself in a promising position to capitalize on these developments.
