Our take
For a long time, recruitment has relied on the same outdated processes and job boards. HeyJobs leverages machine learning to modernise the sector with a self-learning algorithm that matches workers with jobs that fit their profile.
The platform also optimises job adverts, saving employers money on their advertising spend. HeyJobs is now used by enterprises such as Sky, PayPal, Allianz and Motel One among many others, and over 750,000 people have found jobs through the platform. Its success in breaking into a market dominated by large incumbents like TotalJobs and Indeed is a testament to the ability of its cutting edge product to match talent to opportunities.
The company has accrued impressive funding, which has enabled it to invest heavily in developing its AI and expanding into new markets. Between 2021 it doubled its headcount and is looking to continue to onboard talent to help power its R&D efforts and its rapid growth.
