Company mission

To give small business owners a great experience while getting the finance they need.

Role

Who you are

  • Someone with around 5-7 years of experience working on Paid Search campaigns
  • Someone who has worked in-house and is familiar with communicating with the broader business
  • Someone who has a healthy dose of skepticism about data and tracking
  • Someone who can determine the appropriate metrics to make decisions and drive growth
  • Someone with experience working across multiple campaigns

What the job involves

  • In order to achieve our goals, we need great people—great people who can find great customers
  • We’re looking for a Paid Search expert to join us and help achieve these goals. Paid Search represents a significant opportunity for growth through improving budget allocation, ensuring we’re sending the best data back to Google, and improving conversion through the funnel
  • Expanding our Google and Bing Ads accounts: The account is set up, but there is room to grow by finding new keywords and building out campaigns
  • Becoming an expert in the data to understand where to invest and where to cut back: By really understanding the different metrics and thinking critically about the ROI of various campaigns and activities, using this to set budgets
  • Building out a testing agenda to optimize the user journey: We have the tools available for you to roll out copy, messaging, and landing tests—learning what helps conversion as you go
  • Gaining a deep understanding of our customers and how they progress through the journey: Our product (and customers) are constantly evolving. By having a deep understanding of our customers, you can better cater to their needs
  • Communicating your decisions and learnings with the wider team: iwoca is built on a culture of learning and transparency, so we can understand what works and what doesn’t for small businesses and make the best decisions
  • Own the Paid Search test & learn roadmap: Take on responsibility for thinking of, and running tests at all stages of the Paid Search funnel. Also, analysing the results of these tests and presenting them to senior stakeholders

Our take

UK SME's are the backbone of a complex economy that is constantly changing, so the need for fast and responsive access to finance is becoming more and more important to ensure their success and growth. iwoca allows SMEs access to business loans in less than a minute, with its API and business marketplace partnerships.

With offerings like iwoca's, gone are the days where waiting up to eight weeks for a loan decision was viable. Its simplified business loans of £1,000 - £500,000 come with no fees attached, and applying online takes no more than five minutes. The ready availability of iwoca loans gives business owners a level of certainty, so that they can make instant decisions to help their business grow.

iwoca has made a number of partnerships with other players in the business finance space, including an impressive industry-first invoice checkout integration with QuickBooks. Funding raised by the company, which is now operating at net profitability, will enable it to meet a recent surge in demand for corporate loans. The company has made several billion in funding available to over 100,000 businesses since launching, positioning itself as a leading European fintech.

Company values

  • Motivated: Going to work shouldn't feel like a slog, so we want everyone in the team to personally care about what they're working on. We stay motivated by celebrating our wins, learning from our mistakes, and always looking for new gaps to step into.
  • Smart: At iwoca being smart isn't about what you know, it's about how you think. Smart thinking means looking at each problem by asking ‘why’ first, then figuring out ‘how’.
  • Humble: We know all ideas are flawed, all code has bugs, and everyone makes mistakes - it’s how we learn. For us, being humble means you question yourself first, rather than your team.
  • Growth Mindset: We think there's always a better way to solve a problem. So we never let ourselves get comfortable with being good enough.
