UX Designer, BABLE Smart Cities

• You are used to conceptualise refreshing and surprising solutions to challenges
• Great communication & presentation skills and the ability to work in an international and multidisciplinary team
• Eye for design, visually creative, and attention to detail
• Extraordinary qualitative research skills. Knowledge and/or experience with a high variety of research methodologies is a plus
• Ability to work independently
• Be up to date with the latest best practices for web-based information architecture and design
• Proficiency with using Figma for prototyping
• Willingness to learn about product management and product ownership; prioritisation and involvement in the development resource allocation is key in our team
• Plus: experience working with (a team of) developers
• Plus: experience with incorporating LLMs in your products or working on AI-based/augmented applications
• Plus: experience working with (open) data-based tools or data visualisation
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in (UX/UI and/or Product) Design, Industrial Design, Service Design, Strategic Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or something related
• A couple of years of relevant experience in the field, a plus if you have working experience with/in the public sector
• A portfolio of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions. Showcasing a solid understanding of design methodology is a must
• Full professional proficiency in English

• As a UX Designer at BABLE, you will be working right in between the public and private sector. Your aim will be to design cutting edge digital tools that offer key insights to people that work in municipalities or companies in the B2G area
• Designing top-of-the-class user experiences by applying UX principles and theoretical foundation to the design of components and other UI elements
• Independently executing qualitative user research, to figure out which of your user flow concepts works best
• Delivering a presentation of your design concept or implemented live version of a prototype to a client
• Analysing competitor products in the market and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve
• Maintaining or expanding our own Design System
• Developing high-level detailed wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
