Role

Who you are

  • Solid academic background
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with 2+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Prior credit sector experience strongly preferred

Desirable

  • Interest in fintech
  • Experience with SQL/database query tools
  • Happy working in a rapidly growing company/willing to take on a broad range of tasks outside “core role”

What the job involves

  • Working closely with the whole finance team and driving our ability to deliver information which aids strategic decision making
  • Reporting to the Financial Controller and CFO, the FP&A manager will interact closely with the broader management team and have investor relations exposure (debt and equity)
  • The role arises as the platform grows and the finance team develops specialisms in reporting, strategic decision-making support, pricing, credit risk and FinOps
  • Tailoring the “standard FP&A toolkit” to Creditspring’ s unique product offering: a loan which does not charge interest, where the financial instrument is a membership with indeterminate loan drawdown
  • Refurb and refinement of existing unitary multi period business plan to enable more actively tailored scenarios for different stakeholders:
  • Annual budgeting and AvP analysis
  • Debt provider/facility utilisation
  • Longer term planning/Equity raising
  • Pricing analytics:
  • Standardising unit economics and cohort performance analytics
  • “what-if” analysis in determining the impact of price changes on portfolio performance
  • Investor relations
  • Standardising monthly investor reporting metric production
  • Ad hoc data analytics to support debt and equity investor liaison
  • Maintaining and automating monthly financial KPI dashboards in line with ongoing refinement of management reporting
  • Providing tools to assist in Activity Based Costing initiatives
