Role
Who you are
- Experience working with CI/CD systems to automate tests
- Experience developing in Python
- Experience working in a large codebase and going through code review process
- Experinece triaging / debugging complex software problems
- Experience working with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other hardware instruments
- Experience developing and executing test plans for software
What the job involves
- As a Software Test Engineer you will be primarily responsible for executing and triaging automated tests of our critical flight and ground software
- This will involve a mix of test coordination, test script development, code inspection and debugging, and multi-disciplinary test planning
- Throughout you will develop a strong understanding of our full vehicle system and work closely with cross functional partners who will regularly use your work to deliver a more reliable flight software solution
- Most importantly, all of this work you will take on will be the last line of defense before our software is shipped all over the world to perform vital deliveries
- Lead triaging and resolution of test failures both at the software and hardware level
- Review system-level validation plans from unit testing all the way to flight
- Inspect other team-members code, holding a high bar for coverage
- Develop test scripts and drivers as needed to execute tests
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to make sure you are always unblocked
