Fullstack Software Engineer, Vanta

• Have at least 3 years of full stack experience
• Have a passion for high visibility customer facing features, with a strong eye for detail

• As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for setting technical direction to enable our product and infrastructure to scale with our business, and driving complex projects across our technical stack
• Your past experience will be leveraged to enable and accelerate Vanta’s growth
• As a software engineer on the Test Experience team, you’ll help shape the future of automated Product Tests - one of our platform’s most impactful and heavily-used features
• Vanta Tests enable customers to continuously track their compliance and security posture, save valuable time managing GRC programs, and generate critical audit evidence effortlessly
• You’ll operate at the intersection of platform infrastructure and user experience. Exciting and ambitious opportunities include:
• Building out our next generation Tests data architecture
• Enhancing customization and visibility across test inputs, logic, and results
• Integrating cutting edge LLM tools and AI agents into the full Tests lifecycle - from creation to remediation
• Scaling infrastructure to match Vanta’s rapidly growing customer base
• Design, develop, and own new product functionality and/or infrastructure leveraging modern frameworks and tooling (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
• Lead high impact projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers to enable our business and team to scale
• Set direction for critical technical surface areas, enabling us to stay ahead of continued rapid growth
• Work with talented and kind engineers to make a significant impact on our customer base, enabling them to improve and review their security posture

The security auditing process is usually very time-consuming, taking hours to complete, and it is often difficult for start-ups to invest time into such a process. Yet, the benefits of security accreditation are enormous, mainly as many such businesses are working globally and need ways to demonstrate security compliance to one another. Vanta works specifically with start-ups to help them complete and pass security audits such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
