Who you are

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of experience building high volume backend systems in monolithic and/or distributed architectures
  • Demonstrated experience with Java and/or Kotlin
  • Python, Typescript, Go and/or Rust is a plus
  • Proficiency in developing services and interfaces with sophisticated integrations

  • In the area of content security, we're seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. You'll dive into the heart of Miro Enterprise Guard, where your responsibilities will span various aspects of functionality
  • Autonomy and proactive initiative are key traits we value, alongside your ability to collaborate closely with Product, Data engineers, Architects, and fellow engineers
  • From requirement definition to technical design and implementation, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our product. Utilizing top-notch quality and technology standards, your coding expertise will ensure our features meet the highest standards while maintaining a deep sense of empathy for our customers' needs
  • This role is crucial to enhancing our content security framework, ensuring it remains robust and effective in safeguarding sensitive data
  • Conduct technical research to define low-level implementation details based on product requirements
  • Develop architecture, designs, functionality, and proof of concepts (POCs) to validate business ideas
  • Support feature development across all stages, from kick-off to implementation, testing, release, and feature usage data analysis
  • Collaborate with engineers from various teams to enhance architecture, reliability, and development processes across the organization

As part of its ongoing battle with Zoom, Miro acquired video-chat startup Around in 2022, to remain competitive in the market.
