Who you are

  • The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in building and scaling APIs, partnerships, and developer ecosystems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degree is a plus
  • A minimum of 3+ years of PM experience with a deep understanding of technical integrations, APIs, and software product development
  • Strong technical skills to translate and break down business needs and complex problems into clear product development requirements
  • Proven track record of building and running partner integrations and/or ecosystems with cross-functional product development teams
  • Developer at heart, with hands-on experience working with APIs and integrations
  • Data-driven with a growth mindset on the entire customer lifecycle funnel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

What the job involves

  • We’re looking for a technical Product Manager, API Ecosystems to join our team
  • As a Product Manager, API Ecosystems, you will work with talented cross-functional teams to define, develop, and scale API platforms for internal use or integrations with external partners and tools
  • Moreover, you will help define our broader ecosystem strategy, including platform extensibility, integration frameworks, and program approach
  • In collaboration with product and engineering leadership, help define our product strategy, roadmap, and architecture of our API ecosystem
  • Define requirements and collaborate with engineering and design teams to efficiently build scalable external and internal API platform to drive product integrations
  • Work closely with customers, partners, 3P applications to prioritize features and enhancements that align with our business objectives
  • Set and track key product and business success metrics to understand the impact of the API platform and product integrations
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including API specifications and use-case scenarios, while also ensuring internal stakeholders are trained and aware of the capabilities and usage of integrations
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities to grow adoption, utilization, and partnerships
  • Communicate product and ecosystem vision and progress to internal and external stakeholders
