Who you are
- Do you want to be part of the blockchain industry revolution? Here’s your chance: we are looking for a passionate CSS &Styling focused Front-end engineer, to join our team
- Can completely convert a design into responsive, cross browser compatible web pages
- Have knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 as well as coding best practices
- Are good with JavaScript - both vanilla and Typescript
- Are very well experienced with different browser quirks and cross browser compatibility
- Have an eye for UX / design
- Gained work experience with React stack and any state management libraries (Redux is a plus)
- Are accustomed with using source versioning systems such as GIT
- Have a passion for experiencing new technologies and understand when those are suitable and when not
- Have a portfolio of online websites (completely coded by you, no team work)
- Are an excellent team player with interpersonal skills as well as adaptability/flexibility
- Have excellent verbal & written communication skills - both in Romanian & English
- Have at least 3 years work experience as a web or front-end developer
What the job involves
- Write elegant front-end code and functionality for our new or existing Web3 applications and interact with blockchain API’s to give users a seamless experience
- Create, develop and maintain packages with complex logic that are used across our applications
- Participate in deciding the technological stack and path of our apps and development practices
- Track down complex bugs and implement fixes without regressions
- Analyze & Optimize the front-end site performance

MultiversX wants to bring more independent developers and users on board too, by providing a toolkit of products to allow people to join and build in the metaverse.
MultiversX isn't exactly starting from a clean slate: formerly known as Elrond, the company rebranded following the poor financial performance of its token in 2022. This pivot will allow MultiversX to retain its community and use its expertise in blockchain technologies to help develop infrastructure for the future of Web 3.0.
Since the rebrand, MultiversX has worked to become a key player in the onset of Web 3.0, for example through its xDay conferences dedicated to blockchain technology. With venture capital still pouring into metaverse projects, the company's pivot is so far looking to have been a wise one.
