Who you are

  • Some experience building native iOS and/or Android apps
  • Experience auditing, instrumenting, and expanding MarTech and AdTech SDKs in native and web environments, focusing on AppsFlyer and ideally Braze or similar customer engagement platforms

What the job involves

  • Join us at GameChanger as our Senior Software Engineer in Marketing Technology, where you will spearhead the development and execution of our advanced marketing platforms and introduce technical marketing initiatives into our product
  • This crucial role blends deep technical expertise with strong cross-team collaboration, to innovate within our marketing technology stack and enable our ability to reach our marketing objectives
  • You’ll work to leverage and correlate our data as inputs to disparate systems within our stack
  • It’s not just about data; you will become a driving force to extend our reach to more youth sports teams, their families, and communities
  • Work closely with GTM teams to understand their needs and translate these into innovative technical solutions that drive Marketing objectives and significant business value
  • Implement a robust technical strategy for our marketing technology systems, ensuring they align with our business objectives and adapt to changing market conditions
  • Design and refine the architecture of our marketing technology stack, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and security to handle increasing volumes of data and complex integrations
  • Ensure the continuous operational efficiency of our marketing platforms, focusing on system availability, performance, and the integration of best-in-class tools and practices
  • Build customer-driven product features that contribute to Marketing success

Our take

The competitive nature of sports has always been driven by scorekeeping, and nowadays results are often consumed online. However, for smaller teams it can be difficult to provide this information digitally, as they do not have dedicated web development staff.

GameChanger provides a scorekeeping and statistics platform for sports teams to engage with their fans, that allows viewers to track the progress of a game in real-time similar to with professional sports. The company also embeds a live-streaming service into the platform to facilitate remote viewing, helping to increase audience engagement.

Whilst some sports teams already stream events on platforms such as Twitch and Youtube, most do not have the technical resources to achieve this. GameChanger has recognized this gap in the market, providing a simple yet unified platform for sports scoreboards and streaming, providing a fair opportunity for any team to maximize their community engagement.
