Our take

Freelancers within the tech industry are often bogged down in tedious admin and paperwork, all whilst working solitary, unpredictable schedules. Hightekers is setting out to change this. They provide IT and Recruiting IT Consultants with a specially designed platform to help manage business.

Via a custom dashboard, freelancers can manage their own activity, lean on their dedicated consultant support coordinator, quickly access administrative documents, and post/find new job opportunities. On top of this, they have access to the Highteker community to help expand their global network.

With more than 1500 clients so far, Hightekers operates across Europe, and with its acquisition of Shifter EoR (Employer of Record) will continue its growth. EoR companies take on the responsibility of employing and onboarding workers as a third party for companies, so its addition to the Hightekers platform will further streamline the teething problems of freelancers wanting to get on with the work they’re trained for, not the admin around it.
