Who you are

  • 10+ years of experience with alternative investment offerings. Experience managing complex projects associated with fund launches and capital raises is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiar with Salesforce and Tableau or other business intelligence tools is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment and consistently meet deadlines

What the job involves

  • ICapital is looking for a Vice President who will support the iCapital Marketplace business by working with General Partners throughout a fund’s lifecycle
  • Specifically, this individual will present the Marketplace and demo the site to prospective clients, coordinate new product launches, collaborating with various internal departments in a project management capacity, train new clients to use the platform effectively to drive sales; provide reporting to and gather feedback from existing clients on a regular basis, and develop new feature enhancements to improve the Marketplace experience
  • This candidate will report to the head of iCapital Marketplace in support of our broader distribution effort
  • Present Marketplace and demo the site to prospective General Partner clients in new business meetings
  • Lead new product rollout, collaborating closely with key internal and external stakeholders across three phases:
  • Pre-launch: contracting, pricing, product education, sales planning, and custodial connectivity
  • Launch: marketing rollout and GP engagement
  • Post-launch: pipeline management, GP coordination, and closing process
  • Train new General Partner clients to use the platform’s functionality to track user engagement and drive sales activity; inviting users, identifying top prospects, managing announcements, etc
  • Coordinate regular meetings with existing General Partner clients to support their efforts and optimize their chances of success and seek feedback to improve the Marketplace offering
  • Work closely with iCapital’s technology team to develop new features to enhance the user experience for General Partners and their clients
