What the job involves

  • We're seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to spearhead events and content initiatives for Amazon Transportation Services (ATS)
  • In this role, you'll serve as the strategic mastermind, blending analytical prowess with creative flair to orchestrate large-scale marketing events that bolster Amazon Freight Partner and Amazon Relay businesses' objectives
  • Your primary mission will be the development and execution of flagship events, serving as a nexus for key customers and partners, facilitating engagement, education, and amplification of our sustainability and program performance goals
  • As the driving force behind our event strategies, you'll be accountable for setting and achieving ambitious goals, meticulously curating event content including speakers, sessions, and post-event amplification efforts
  • Collaboration will be key, as you'll liaise with external agencies, brand teams, and marketing counterparts across EU and NA to ensure seamless execution and alignment with overarching business objectives
  • Develop, lead, and execute flagship carrier and partner events, ensuring alignment with Amazon's sustainability goals and announcements, and maximizing impact through strategic content curation and delivery
  • Define event themes and programs in line with business objectives, project managing the development of speaker sessions and content creation, collaborating closely with internal teams
  • Own and manage all aspects of content for events, including speaker selection, session development, and post-event amplification strategies to drive engagement and awareness
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing & Program teams, and external partners to ensure seamless coordination and execution of flagship events, driving playbook implementation and optimizing event effectiveness
  • Manage vendor-funding collaborations during events to optimize funding allocation and maximize value for both partners and Amazon
  • Orchestrate comprehensive marketing strategies for events, encompassing pre-event, at-event, and post-event phases, leveraging social media platforms like LinkedIn to amplify reach and engagement among target audiences, ensuring maximum participation and impact
  • Own financial planning and reporting for event performance, providing insights to inform future event strategies and optimizations
  • Conduct post-event reporting and analysis to measure ROI and identify areas for improvement, diving deep into data to uncover insights and successes
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across carriers, partners, and internal teams, ensuring global consistency to brand guidelines and supporting wider marketing initiatives as needed
