Our take

Papaya Global provides remote HR services such as cloud-based payroll and job boards to help support companies with international workforces. The company also uses its cloud-based technology to provide solutions to the complexity of international financial compliance and workplace regulations.

Remote working opportunities have resulted in many workforces becoming globalized, with companies hiring staff outside of their home country. This results in complex challenges regarding human resource infrastructure. Papaya Global offers a single service that allows companies to consolidate and streamline payroll and keep track of their global employees.

The unicorn company has seen considerable success, as its flexible and scalable, platform grew massively as the industry saw an increased demand for remote workforce management services. Its partnership with Mesh Payments completely eliminates the need for employees to cover their business expenses upfront and its acquisition of Azimo, has enabled Papaya to expand its platform globally and further expand the services it provides (such as its recently launched its fully automated, embedded payments platform, Papaya Global Payroll Payments.)
