Company mission

To help organizations find and hire the right people across industries such as retail, healthcare and logistics.

Role

Who you are

  • You are self-driven & autonomous, quickly gathering context to turn ambiguity into fast, high quality decisions.
  • You enjoy collaborating and influencing cross-functionally - not only with the internal partners (customer success, finance, sales, engineering, design) needed to deliver a highly valuable, highly viable product, but with the external customer stakeholders who ultimately choose to use our products
  • You will champion the balance between innovation, user needs, and business goals, ensuring we deliver exceptional products that set industry standards
  • 5+ years experience in B2B SaaS product management, preferably in HR tech or CRM
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing high-impact 0-1 products, from initial concept through to market launch
  • Advanced technical and data fluency - able to drive technical discussions and quickly make high quality, data-informed decisions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - concise, comprehensive, and audience-tailored
  • Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet the evolving needs of customers and the business
  • Evidence of a strong bias for action and a proactive approach to problem-solving

What the job involves

  • As a Staff Product Manager on the Applicant Experience (AX) team, you'll play an essential role in shaping our new products at a pivotal point in our company. The AX team is responsible for the platform and products that deliver outsized value throughout the pre-hire journey - from find to start
  • Our blockbuster Hire product got us to market leadership by helping applicants get screened faster and more seamlessly than competitors; our new products will expand our value creation to the entire applicant journey, from find to start.
  • New products are released every quarter, with a focus on validating fast, scoping smart, and launching iteratively. We operate with agility and speed
  • Take at least two products to solve pain points in the pre-hire journey from 0 to 1 this year:
  • Develop and articulate a compelling product value proposition and strategy that fills a gap in the market or addresses a unique customer need
  • Engage closely with our Customer Experience lead to gather insights, validate hypotheses, and ensure the product is closely aligned with customer needs and expectations
  • Partner with design to rapidly prototype and test product ideas to iterate based on feedback and data, minimizing time to market while maximizing product-market fit
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to inform product decisions and roadmap adjustments
  • Champion an agile and adaptable product development process, ensuring quick iteration and responsiveness to change
  • Work collaboratively with PMM, marketing, and sales teams to execute a go-to-market strategy that ensures successful product launch, market penetration, and user adoption, setting clear metrics for success and adjusting strategies based on market response
  • Facilitate effective decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution within the team

COO of Otta

Companies regularly struggle with recruitment, spending valuable time and resources on sourcing candidates, interviewing them, and analyzing job eligibility. Applications are processed through antiquated job board systems and require additional lengthy processes such as paperwork signing, background checks, and training - ultimately presenting a need for innovation in the recruitment processes.

Fountain provides a data-driven recruitment and candidate management platform for businesses, allowing them to leverage their data to identify recruitment inefficiencies, and automate interviewing, hiring, and post-hire workflows. The company provides bespoke solutions for industries such as hospitality, healthcare, and retail, integrating its technology within industry-specific software and communication formats to make the recruitment experience easier for prospective employees and employers.

Whilst the company faces competition from other automation-driven recruitment platforms, Fountain stands out by improving the recruitment process for both employees and employers, helping to reduce communication and processing speeds for both parties. Through this approach, the company claims that it can increase recruitment scope, speed up recruitment processes, and help companies to hire the best candidates for their hiring goals.

The company is also working to expand its offerings, developing new AI capabilities such as its newest conversational AI solution.
