Who you are

  • 5+ year’s experience in digital platform product management or similar - ideally at a scaling startup
  • Ability to both lead and support
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and plan your time
  • Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

Desirable

  • Experience with development is a plus
  • Experience of using Jira for workflow and defect management is preferred

What the job involves

  • Conducting Research: Researching latest cloud technology and modern architectural techniques to gain expertise about solving the platform problems of a scaling startup
  • Developing Platform Strategy: Shaping a high-level strategic plan for the platform
  • Communicating Plans: Developing a working roadmap and presenting it to key stakeholders across the organization: executives, feature product managers, the development team, etc.
  • Coordinating Development: coordinating with the relevant teams— feature product managers, development, etc
  • Acting on Feedback and Data Analysis: learning via data analysis and soliciting direct feedback from users, what works, what doesn’t, and what to add. Working with the relevant teams to incorporate this feedback into future iterations of the platform
