What the job involves
- We’re looking for a fintech enthusiasts to join Upvest as an intern in the Product team to support us in creating the financial infrastructure of tomorrow
- Learn modern product management skills by facilitating ceremonies, by managing the product backlog, and by refining inputs for our product discovery and delivery processes
- Be in the driver seat and actively shape how we build our Investment API while learning from fintech experts
- Work cross-functionally in an Agile manner with other Upvest teams (Engineering, Growth, Banking, and Legal), as well as external stakeholders (clients and vendors)
- Experience the European fintech product landscape first-hand and dive deep into product research with a user-centric, data-driven approach
- Join a fast-paced and dynamic product-first startup environment

Upvest is a fintech startup that empowers financial services companies to provide their customers with access to a full range of financial assets, including stocks, ETFs and crypto products. Upvest's investment API integrates seamlessly with its customers existing systems and is designed to scale easily, freeing companies from the need to develop their own brokerage and custody infrastructure from scratch.
As one of the few companies in Germany that is licensed for both the custody of traditional securities and crypto, Upvest is able to provide its services across Europe. Its solution has been readily adopted by some major players in the space including Ginmon, Vivid and ABN AMRO.
Upvest is backed by a number of Europe's largest tech VCs (Earlybird, Notion Capital, Partech, HV Capital, ABN AMRO Ventures). In 2022 it closed a Series B investment round which has allowed it to expand its team. Focusing for now on product development and growing its European client base, it has longer term plans to expand to the US market.
