Who you are

  • 12+ years in product management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale products and initiatives in a SaaS environment
  • 3+ years of experience in managing and developing high-performing teams. Strong leadership abilities to inspire and guide teams toward achieving ambitious goals
  • Strong understanding of technology and product development, with the ability to engage in technical discussions and make informed decisions
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize product strategies. Experience with A/B testing, data analytics, and customer feedback integration
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to various audiences
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience. Advanced degrees or certifications in product management, business, or technology are a plus

  • We are looking for a dynamic Director of Product Management to lead our product teams, define long-term strategies, and manage key projects that align with our company's vision
  • You will report into the VP, Product and manage a team. This role is crucial in driving innovation and ensuring our product offerings meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction

  • Strategic Vision & Execution: Develop and implement a 3-5 year product strategy, ensuring alignment with Klaviyo's business objectives and market opportunities. Prioritize product initiatives that offer the most value to our customers and competitive advantage
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other departments to refine our product roadmap. Ensure cross-functional alignment and smooth execution of product initiatives
  • Team Development & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and people leaders. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Customer & Market Focus: Gather insights from customers, market trends, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions. Champion a customer-first mindset, ensuring our products solve real problems and enhance user experiences
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Implement processes and tools that improve efficiency and streamline workflows
  • Stakeholder Communication: Clearly articulate product vision, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, including executives and cross-functional teams. Ensure transparency and alignment across the organization
  • Performance & Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and iterate on product strategies
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies. Drive innovation within the product team and across the organization, exploring new opportunities to enhance Klaviyo's product offerings
  • Technical Depth: Demonstrate a deep understanding of technology, architecture, and product development. Engage with engineering teams to address technical challenges, unblock issues, and ensure product scalability and reliability

Klaviyo is a marketing firm helping growth-focused eCommerce brands drive more sales with super-targeted, highly relevant email, Facebook and Instagram marketing campaigns. From personalised newsletters to automated emails when customers abandon their shopping carts, the marketing automation platform makes it easy for businesses to capture, store, analyze, and predictively use their own data to drive measurable, high-value outcomes.

Klaviyo's CEO, Bialecki, believes that the main problem with e-mail marketing today is that there is a divide between two kinds of tools: analytics tools that help you understand what people are doing on a website, such as what products they are considering, and messaging tools that send them a marketing e-mail. Operating primarily within the retail and eCommerce industry, Klaviyo aims to solve this by offering a tool that brings together analytics and messaging. This allows companies to bring all of their first-party data into a single platform to get a deep understanding of their customers and then activate that data to deliver highly-targeted, personalised communications through email and SMS. In the process, Klaviyo's customers get a deep understanding of their consumers.

Klaviyo is a fast-growing company mainly due to its business model - the firm offers a concrete ROI for Klaviyo’s clients if the software persuades customers to make purchases by treating different types of customers differently. An IPO in 2023 has led to Klaviyo's release of Klaviyo AI, which empowers businesses to unlock revenue-driving opportunities and deliver exceptional customer experiences across channels. Still in its early days of public listing, it will be interesting to see how Klaviyo fares in the years to come.
