Who you are

  • A computer science background or equivalent experience (programming styles,data structures, algorithms, etc.) with at least 5 years of experience

What the job involves

  • As a UI SDET, you will be working closely with UI Quality Assurance Engineers and UI Engineers in multiple product groups to ensure optimal testing and release of the highest quality product
  • UI SDETs at CrowdStrike will be building frameworks, libraries, and tooling used for testing our UI
  • Essentially building out a testing infrastructure to be used throughout CrowdStrike going forward and who will drive innovation, inspiration, and the future of product testing
  • Thinking strategically about test automation and driving quality in your team and across the organization
  • Verifying component, system integration and application level features andfunctionality to ensure our reliability, accuracy and performance reaches ourstandards for quality
  • Automating test processes for speed, reproducibility, scalability and reporting
  • Building elegant, robust, and reliable solutions for complex technical problems
  • Reviewing engineering technical design documents and requirements. Workingwith Engineering to create plans and strategies about how and where to build in testability
  • Building reliable and easily consumed tools, frameworks, and environments foryourself and peers to build upon
  • Contributing to existing tools, frameworks and related solutions
  • Increasing and improving our automated test coverage
  • Delivering and accepting feedback with grace and courtesy
  • Collaborating with UI Engineering on determining the root cause of issues andadding automation quality improvements to prevent future problems
  • Creating and maintaining test infrastructure. Building the frameworks and packages required to implement automation
  • Take ownership and be accountable for deliverables
