Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with a portfolio that demonstrates your writing chops
  • Prior experience (ideally 4+ years) in the B2B SaaS landscape, understanding the nuances of this market
  • Proficient in social media management, analytics tools, and major platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok)
  • Adept at using AI tools to augment content creation and strategy
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and the ability to create content that ranks
  • Adept at juggling multiple projects, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines with consistency
  • A strong analytical mind and a passion for results-driven content

What the job involves

  • Manage our social media presence across platforms like Facebook, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You'll build a strong community and increase our reach
  • Plan and execute content initiatives that amplify brand awareness and drive targeted traffic to our website
  • Craft compelling content for email campaigns that nurture leads, promote our solution offerings, and engage our audience
  • Write high-quality, SEO-optimized content for our website, blog, and other channels
  • Partner with our demand generation team to ensure seamless alignment between content and overall messaging, driving results
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices, continuously evolving your skills
  • Use AI tools like Gemini and Copilot to help with content production

Our take

Founded back in 2002, Appspace has grown into something of a leader in the workplace experience field. What essentially started as an internal content management and digital signage toolkit has since expanded into an end-to-end workplace management platform that caters for both physical and digital co-working and communication.

The caliber of customer that Appspace serves says a lot about its status – Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Coca-Cola, and Pfizer all use the platform. It’s to the company’s credit that it’s stayed abreast of changing needs in the workplace, and added to its product offering at opportune moments, either by developing its own solutions or via strategic acquisitions (such as its 2021 purchase of digital workplace platform Beezy).

Now that a blend of on-site, hybrid, and remote working is the norm, there’s a need for a single platform that ensures good employee (and customer) experiences, rather than companies using a host of distributed apps. It’s a need that Appspace is fulfilling well, continuing its winning streak of partnerships with the likes of Sony and Microsoft in 2022.
