Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining data platforms focusing on MongoDB and/or Clickhouse
- Installation, setup & configuration of high availability, secure, and resilient hosting facilities in production environments 24/7
- Strong experience in MongoDB or/and Clickhouse (installation, configuration, performance tuning, and monitoring.)
- Proficiency in database schema design and data modeling
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks
- Experience with ETL processes and tools for data integration and transformation
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Understanding of cloud-based data solutions and services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for database deployment and management
What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced Data Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team
- You will be crucial in managing our data architecture, ensuring optimal performance, and supporting our data-driven initiatives
- Architect, build and maintain scalable and efficient data platforms using MongoDB and Clickhouse
- Monitor and optimize the performance of MongoDB and/or Clickhouse databases to ensure high availability and reliability
- Manage and maintain data storage solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, and backup/recovery processes
- Develop and implement data integration processes to ensure seamless data flow between systems
- Work closely with internal teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
- Implement automation for data processing pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to data services
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, processes, and procedures
