What the job involves

  • Provide strategic leadership to the sales engineering team, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives and revenue goals
  • Drive technical pre-sales initiatives, supporting the sales team in positioning our AI software solutions effectively
  • Collaborate closely with the sales, product management, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to customer engagement
  • Work with product management to relay customer feedback and technical requirements for product improvement
  • Act as a technical advisor during the sales process, engaging with key stakeholders to understand their technical requirements and challenges
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, instilling confidence in our technology and solutions
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the AI, Cloud, and SaaS domains
  • Provide technical guidance to the sales team and customers, demonstrating a deep understanding of our product capabilities
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales engineering team
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team
  • Collaborate with the sales enablement function to develop training materials and resources for the sales team
  • Ensure the sales team is equipped with the technical knowledge and tools needed for successful customer interactions
  • Conduct technical presentations to clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our AI software solutions
  • Serve as a technical spokesperson at industry events and conferences
