Role
Who you are
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, principles, and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
What the job involves
- As a Paralegal at LayerZero Labs, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team by managing legal documentation, conducting research, and assisting in contract management

- Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings
- Manage core documents from start to finish including NDAs, incentive compensation agreements and offer letters
- Manage and organize legal documentation, ensuring that files are up-to-date and easily accessible
- Prepare and file legal documents with appropriate courts and regulatory bodies
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate communication and document exchange
- Help develop and implement legal procedures and policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Assist in managing contract lifecycle processes, including tracking deadlines and ensuring timely renewals and terminations
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information
