Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in project/program management, preferably within a marketing or startup environment

What the job involves

  • As the first Marketing Program Manager at Talon.One, you will be at the center of our global marketing team's project management and execution efforts
  • You will be responsible for coordinating and integrating the work across various sub-departments within the marketing team to ensure cohesive and impactful campaigns that drive both business and marketing objectives forward
  • PROCESS DEVELOPMENT: Design and implement effective processes to enhance team collaboration and project execution
  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of marketing projects. Proactively drive initiatives forward to ensure they are completed on time by tracking timelines, milestones, and statuses, raising issues as needed so projects are completed in scope and hit business goals
  • CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION: Work across Product, Content, Demand, Field, Design, Partner, and GTM enablement teams to ensure marketing programs are well planned, executed, and deliver on marketing KPIs
  • STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATION: Own communication with project stakeholders to ensure alignment across marketing programs. Ensure smooth handoffs of tasks within large-scale projects and maintain program consistency
  • SCOPE MANAGEMENT: Assess requirement changes, communicate their impact on timelines, and address potential risks during weekly team calls
  • STATUS MEETINGS: Drive status meetings by setting agendas, highlighting key milestones, identifying issues for resolution, and summarizing outcomes and next steps
  • OFFLINE COORDINATION: Conduct offline meetings with execution teams to clarify priorities, resolve issues, and coordinate efforts
  • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT, FORECASTING, AND PREDICTION: Identify and resolve areas for process improvement and support VP Marketing on emerging opportunities for long-term strategic programs and improvements across the marketing team
  • BEST PRACTICES ADHERENCE: Ensure the marketing team adheres to best practices for communication, documentation, and wider context sharing. Anticipate concerns and raise them early to appropriate owners to resolve issues that prevent progress
  • GENERAL SUPPORT: Support general marketing tasks and administrative needs across finance, people, and operations teams

This collaboration with Big Commerce, alongside other companies involved in the project, highlights Talon.one's integration capabilities. It demonstrates the flexibility of Talon.one as it collaborated effectively with various software companies, showcasing its extensive potential in promotion tools.

Talon.one has a varied product service that includes coupon, referral, gift card, and loyalty software as well as product bundles and wallet solutions.
