Who you are

  • Current Sophomore or Junior student pursuing an undergraduate degree in animation, graphic design, visual communication, or related field with a 3.0 GPA minimum
  • Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the Co-op
  • Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from January 6 to June 20, 2025 in our Boston office

Desirable

  • Technical proficiency with After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma a bonus but not mandatory
  • Motion concepting, typography, and visual storytelling skills
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Top notch creative abilities plus the ability to articulate ideas and opinions
  • Ability to stay organized and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Continual interest in the latest design, art, technology, and current trends

What the job involves

  • Program Dates: January 6th, 2025 - June 20th, 2025
  • The Wayfair Creative team is a multi-talented group of innovative thinkers across many disciplines, partnering closely with strategic leaders to catapult Wayfair into the leading destination for all things home by developing engaging consumer campaigns, next-in-class consumer experiences, and scalable, but distinct brand systems
  • Animate on site and digital marketing collateral in partnership with our in-house motion, design, and copy teams
  • Produce work that resonates with our customers, follows our creative guidelines and continues to raise the bar for our brand
  • Participate in collaborative brainstorms, concept development, and presentations with creative peers and cross-functional partners
  • Engage in thoughtful critiques, both responding positively to and offering constructive feedback
  • Interpret needs, objectives, and direction from multiple sources to ensure design concepts meet business goals
  • Be a strong contributor, an organized team player, and willing to pitch in on additional projects
  • Paid program that runs twice annually in January to June and July to December
