What the job involves

  • The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about applying their software engineering fundamentals to build software that meets the highest standards in quality, scalability and reliability
  • You will be working across all Engineering teams including Front End, Mobile and Backend, and collaborating with your Engineering Manager to define and execute a multi-year vision
  • You will be expected to break down and execute large, cross-functional projects
  • This is a great opportunity to have a broad-sized impact across Included Health fostering collaboration between Product and Infrastructure Orgs and unlocking the next wave of growth for the company
  • Work on ambitious technical projects that interact with a wide variety of teams within the company demonstrating strong ownership and accountability
  • Create and maintain best-in-class backend systems that enable all our product teams and provide consistent, reliable experiences for our members
  • Partner with Engineering and Product Leadership to design core, foundational services that have broad impact across the Engineering organization
  • Identify, define, and implement impactful work that enables our Product teams

Previously served as a Senior Consultant at Accenture before joining eBay as the Manager and Founder of User Behaviour Intelligence in 2004. Co-founded Reputation.com in 2006, and served as its COO from 2008 to 2012. Was an Advisor at Pathbrite and Life360.

Studied Medicine at Ohio State, Johns Hopkins and Stanford. Was Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins from 2000 to 2005, and is now Professor of Interventional Radiology at Stanford. Co-founded Grand Rounds, rebranded to Included Health, in 2012. Is Medical Director at Stanford Health Care.
