Role

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in sales strategy and operations within a high growth enterprise SaaS organization with an emphasis on prior business partnering support for an EMEA / APAC sales team
  • Have solid project management skills including: planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, working with cross functional stakeholders, and navigating ambiguity to deliver results
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role
  • Excellent communication skills with executive audiences - explain “what it is”, “why it matters” and “what should we do” in terms of your data and analysis
  • High comfort with ambiguity. You identify the right priorities and put in the hard work without need for external motivation
  • Deep understanding of core sales tools, such as Salesforce, Clari, CPQ, Gong, etc
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets modeling skills including import functions, index matches and pivot tables

Desirable

  • Previous experience in open source
  • Experience with Grafana, Tableau, or other analysis/BI tools
  • Familiarity with SQL, or similar database querying language (you won’t be deep in SQL, but helps to have heard of a LEFT JOIN and comfort in modifying existing code)

What the job involves

  • We're looking for a Sales Operations Manager to serve as a Business Partner to our EMEA and APAC Sales team with a specific emphasis on partnering with our sales leadership to provide operational rigor for our largest growth markets
  • In this role, you will serve as a key foundational hire in helping to scale our overall operational capabilities as we develop the guidelines and standards for establishing localized Sales Operations teams across our Americas, EMEA and APAC regions
  • This role will partner with our Americas BP, Sales Operations team, and overall Revenue Operations team to evaluate the general health of the sales organization in EMEA & APAC which represents Grafana’s highest growth regions by revenue
  • Lead high quality and efficient operational programs to drive forecast accuracy & visibility, sales productivity, sales activity tracking, territory management, and policies across our EMEA & APAC sales organization
  • Provide comprehensive analysis of territory alignment decisions; advise on sales quota setting process, execute on territory planning framework across the regions and segments in the EMEA & APAC region; help manage ongoing integrity of territories
  • Provide guidance, insights and recommendations to the sales leadership team focused on increased revenue growth while improving overall sales team performance and effectiveness
  • Create and distribute sales reports, dashboards, and intelligence to sales leadership and sales teams
